Bombardier’s Belfast operation sold for $1.1bn

US firm AeroSystems has bought Northern Ireland’s, aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Belfast operations for $1.1bn.

Bombardier employs more than 3,500 people in Northern Ireland who build the wings for the Airbus A220.
