John Lewis have announced they are to reopen two stores on 15 June, with strict social distancing measures in place to protect staff and shoppers.

As part of a phased reopening, the retailer will then open a further 11 stores on 18 June.

Kingston and Poole will be the first two stores to open, with more stores set to reopen “throughout the summer” depending on how shoppers respond.

There will be a reduced number of entrances open and they will also cap the number of shoppers in the stores.

The company said they will have “customer services hosts” who will welcome customers and answer any questions or queries.
