‘Alien mothership’ appears to have reversed ‘thrust’ near to the sun leaving scientists perplexed

Scientists who are tracking the interstellar object called 31/Atlas have been left perplexed as it seems to have reversed “thrust” and it is now pointing opposite from the sun.

The object which astrophysicist Dr Avi Loeb has called an “alien mothership” was heading towards the sun, it is now pointing away from it.

The Nordic Optical Telescope in the Canary Islands produced high-resolution images which proved the anti-tail which was seen in July and August this year, it then disappeared, and a new one was formed facing the opposite direction, which suggests it may have changed direction.

The Harvard Professor Dr Loeb and his colleague Eric Keto have made a model to offer an explanation for 31/Atlas weird behaviour.

They found that as the comet moves closer to the sun types of ice on the surface diverts, it changes from solid to gas.

CO2 ice drives strange sunward jets, as 31/Atlas gets closer, water ice begins to dominate, this causes the tail to flip to the shape that is now being seen.

Loeb wrote, “The total amount of mass lost from 3I/ATLAS during July through October 2025 amounts to about two million tons.

“This is less than 0.00005 of the comet’s total mass, which is estimated at over 33 billion tons based on its stable trajectory.”

“Needless to say, we cannot infer the true nature of 3I/ATLAS from the skin layer it has shed so far,” Loeb added.

“My colleague, Adam Hibberd, noted that if the object were an alien spacecraft slowing down, and the anti-tail represented braking thrust, this shift from anti-tail to tail would be entirely expected near perihelion.”

The astrophysicists said that during space travel the time to slowdown or speed up a spacecraft is when it comes close to a large object, such as the sun, then the spaceship will fire up the engine

Dr Loeb said on his blog post, “If 3I/ATLAS is a massive mothership, it will likely continue along its original gravitational path and ultimately exit the Solar system.

“In that case, the Oberth maneuver might apply to the mini-probes it releases at perihelion towards Solar system planets.”

A whistleblower who says they are a Space Debris Engineer for the European Space Agency (ESA) has said that top secret materials is being deliberately kept quiet from the public.

The whistleblower said that other space agency analysts are being kept in the dark, the person said the 31/Atlas is not a comet and it has an “engine like sound” and warned that “something big is about to happen.”

Harvard astrophysicist Loeb has previously said that 31/Atlas is emitting metallic emissions which has a strange glow, whilst the whistleblower has claimed a cover-up is ongoing between ESA and NASA.
