During Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs) Rishi Sunak blasted that the Labour leader is a “lefty lawyer” who would have an “open door immigration and unlimited asylum.”

Sir Keir Starmer asked the Prime Minister over the Illegal Migration Bill and said it drives a “coach and horses” through modern day slavery framework.

The Labour leader said that the Conservatives so far announced “five plans” over the problem with asylum seekers and said the public has had enough.

Sunak told MPs in the House of Commons that there is a “global migration problem” and has pledged to “break the criminal gangs” who helping migrants cross the English Channel.

Sunak then claimed that Labour’s plan is to have an “open door immigration and unlimited asylum,” then Sir Keir said that if the Prime Minister is serious in “stopping the boats” then he would use Labour’s plan.

He added that “no one” in Labour wants open borders and accused the Tory Party of having “lost control of the borders.”

Sunak said that once parliament approves the IIIegal Migration Bill then it will be put in place, he then accused the Labour leader of not voting for tougher laws and that Sir Keir is happy with open borders.
