Vladimir Putin has been warned that a military coup is “most likely” as Russian Generals are now speaking out against the regime as they simply have had enough.

An analyst on Russia politics Vladimir Juškin said the Russian Generals are most likely to overthrow Putin instead of an uprising as they are the ones who are speaking out against the Kremlin for being used as scapegoats for the mass failures in Ukraine.

Putin has sacked many top military and intelligence officials and he is blaming everyone except himself.

The Russian expert said despite the Generals voicing their displeasure’s of the current regimes idea of a Russkiy Mir [Russian world] which Moscow uses to justify their imperial ambitions.

He said that “”As long as Putin and his closest allies live,” the Russkiy Mir “will not go anywhere” as “it is the only idea that ties them all together.”

Juškin added, “Because the disappearance of the Russkiy Mir and the imperial consciousness would mean an end to those people and the regime.

“That is why it is not going anywhere.

“It could try and hide, change its appearance, but it is the only thing propping up the imperial sentiment.”

An ex-Russian Minister who was the Boris Yeltsin’s leading diplomat also warned it is most likely there could be an internal Kremlin coup which will see Putin escorted “either to the grave or to retirement.”

Andrei Kozyrev said that senior figures in the Kremlin could quietly be plotting to oust Putin and could be planning his downfall.

Many Kremlin insiders have expressed their “anger” over Putin’s invasion which they never believed would happen, and with Russian soldiers being killed then country isolated from the world, sanctions which has crippled the economy Putin will almost certainly pay the price.

So far it is estimated that around 80,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in battle over the past seven months of the war in Ukraine.

Kozyrev warned that the Russian President could face a coup which will lead to either an “armed escort either to the grave or to retirement.”

Boris Yeltsin’s former leading diplomat said, “Many Russian tsars were killed. Many were dismissed one way or the other.

“Even in the Soviet Union, there were ways; Stalin was said to have been poisoned, Khrushchev was just escorted out of the Kremlin.

“With Putin, I very much expect there to be resistance growing and discontent growing that will be resolved one way or another.

“I don’t know which way but Russian history is full of unexpected outcomes.”
