British Airways (BA) has announced on Friday that Public Health England (PHE) has said two members of staff have been tested positive for coronavirus.

The two BA workers are baggage handlers and Reuters reported that the two BA staff members are recovering at home.

BA said in a statement, “Public Health England (PHE) has confirmed that two members of our staff have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.”

Professor Chris Whitty, chief medical officer for England and Wales, said people can catch coronavirus, officially known as Covid-19 by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching their face.
