Hungarian airline Wizz Air said profits for the year to 31 March will be in the upper half of expectations for 2019.
The airline is predicting the higher end of range will be between £231.6m and £257.4m, passenger numbers soared by 10% to over 2.7m passengers, taking the 12-month total to 34.57m.
Wizz Air said demand remained strong and operational performance had improved, they said there was only one cancellation in March 2019 compared to 68 for the same period last year.
Load factor increased to 94.1% up from 91.5% in March, and capacity soared by 6.9%.
Wizz forecasts a 4% rise in revenue per available seat per kilometre (Rask) for quarter one, in the new financial year.
The Hungarian airline has a fleet of 112 aircraft, and has taken delivery of two new Airbus A321 NEO aircraft.
