Will Brexit be delayed again?

Experts are weighing in on whether Britain will actually leave the European Union at the end of this month.

Mark Essex, director of public policy of KPMG, has been speaking to Radio 5’s Live Wake Up to Money about the situation with the Brexit talks.

“Every week we seem to think ‘this [Brexit deal] will be around corner soon’. It never seems to happen”.

But, he says, the current developments are “really positive”.

“If I let my emotions go up and down with Brexit I’d never have a nights sleep”.

“There’s lots of reasons to be excited but lots of reasons to worry too. We’ve still got to get some final texts, we need support from the DUP and we support in parliament and it probably is going to need a short technical delay and the government aren’t keen on extending past October 31”.
