Vladimir Putin has made an address on Thursday claiming that it was a “Ukrainian terrorist attack” when the “opened fire on civilians” killing them in the Bryansk region.
Russia’s Tass news agency claimed that Russian troops are in a fight with the group and Russian security services and the army are trying to liquidate “an armed group of Ukrainian nationalists.”
Putin claims that around 50 Ukrainian reconnaissance soldiers crossed over the Russian border and the marched into two villages to carry out the “terrorist attack” and he firmly blames Ukraine.

Putin said in his address, “Another crime. They entered the border territory and opened fire on civilians.
“They saw that it was a civilian car, that there were children sitting there. It was an ordinary field. They opened fire.
“These are the kind of people who set themselves the task of depriving us of their history, depriving us of their traditions, language.”
Putin promised that he will “punish” the guilty, warning thatthat nothing will work out for them, and they will be “pressed.”
TASS had quoted an unnamed source in the Russian security services as saying, “Soldiers from Rosgvardia clashed with the militants.”
Kremlin spokesman Dimitry Peskov said this is a “terrorist attack,” and Putin’s top officials are being sent updates from security agencies on the situation in Bryansk.
The Bryansk regional governor Alexander Bogomaz said in a statement, “A reconnaissance and sabotage group penetrated from Ukraine to the Klimovsky district in the village of Lyubechane.
“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are taking all the necessary measures to eliminate the sabotage group.”
Bogomaz wrote on his Telegram channel “Today, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group penetrated the Klimovsky district in the village of Lubechanye. Saboteurs fired on a moving car.”
He added, “As a result of the attack, one resident was killed and a ten-year-old child was wounded.”
