Next stage of Brexit negotiations could take three years

The European Union’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier has said the next stage of EU negotiations could last for as long as three years.

Barnier is to be in charge of the EU’s new “Task Force for Relations with the UK” for the potentially long series of negotiations once the UK leaves the EU.
