A new company offering support to small and medium sized business owners has been launched in Woodford, East London.

Led by Nadeem Kiyani, The Alternative Board (TAB) brings a unique blend of personal coaching and monthly facilitated board meetings to SME leaders across East London.

TAB Woodford will work alongside business owners in Woodford, Wanstead, Buckhurst Hill, Lowton, Chigwell, Enfield, Redbridge and Waltham Abbey, encouraging collaboration and helping them identify and achieve their commercial goals.

“I am excited to be bringing TAB to East London, an area that is renowned for the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of its diverse businesses,” commented Nadeem.  “I am passionate about bringing together business owners to enable them to work and collaborate together. We all realise that we can’t know everything about finance, people management and all the other challenges which are part of running a company.

“We are here to provide an environment where owners or key players from a wide range of sectors from logistics, to manufacturing and marketing can all learn and grow – they are not selling their businesses to each other they are providing genuine guidance and support. We want to be there, empowering them to embrace change, unlock their potential and achieve long term success.”

Nadeem will be hosting regular peer board meetings for local business owners, enabling them to share and seek advice on challenges and ambitions in a trusted space, working together to realise ambitions.  Alongside this, Nadeem will provide monthly one-to-one coaching sessions, ensuring his the people he works with are accountable and on track to meet their goals.

“Central to TAB’s ethos is that business leaders must be fulfilled in both their professional and private lives and that really resonates with me,” continued Nadeem.  “I have always felt I am a stronger and happier leader because of my charitable and sporting commitments outside of work.  Part of my role will therefore be to ensure all my TAB members have balance in their lives, are fulfilled and making the time to enjoy the rewards that running a business should bring.”
