Far-right hooligans have violently clashed with riot police at Trafalgar Square who were seen shouting, punching and kicking officers.
Protestors detonated smoke bombs at the police which could clearly be heard exploding sending some officers running.

The Met Police have imposed a Section 60 stop and search and a 5pm curfew which will make little difference to the thousands that occupy Whitehall.
