Far-right hooligans have violently clashed with riot police at Trafalgar Square who were seen shouting,  punching and kicking officers.

Protestors detonated smoke bombs at the police which could clearly be heard exploding sending some officers running.

Mounted police in full riot gear with riots squads armed with baton’s and shields are desperately trying to keep Black Lives Matter protestors and the far-right groups apart.

The Met Police have imposed a Section 60 stop and search and a 5pm curfew which will make little difference to the thousands that occupy Whitehall.

Paul Golding who is the leader of Britain First arrived at the Cenotaph on Saturday with former military wearing military uniforms with far-right thugs.

Mounted police came under fire from many objects being thrown with scenes that are similar to last weekend’s protests.

Sky News’ Mark White reported on Saturday afternoon that it is a “very volatile” situation and there have been a “number of violent incidents.”

White reported, “Although police are saying it is an absolute cordon, they are allowing counter-protesters to get through to the other side.

“The different pockets of protesters have been trying to get to different locations and inevitably, at certain points, and certain areas where there is a police cordon, they are meeting and they are clashing.”

He added, “It’s very volatile around here – there have been a number of violent incidents.”
