Meteorologists have warned that parts of Eastern England, Norwich, Hull, Newcastle, Aberdeen and Scotland cold be hit with icy patches from 4pm today.
The Met Office has said the yellow warning will remain in place until 11am on Tuesday morning and travel conditions could be affected.
Experts are now fearing another “Beast from the East” to hit the UK next week which will see more snow and ice coming from the East with ice cold Siberian winds.
From 11 January Meteorologists have warned that there will be a “sudden stratosphere warning” which was the cause from the first Beast from the East which hit the UK in 2018 with 20 inches of snow.
There will be rain this evening in parts of the country with freezing patches in the north, which will spill over into Tuesday, with parts of the West experiencing sunshine.
