Boots considers over 200 store closures 

The largest chain of chemists, Boots is the latest victim of the high street as the chemist looks to close more than 200 stores. 

Revenues in the chemist chain have fallen by 2.3% to £6.8bn. 

A spokesperson for Boots said, “We currently do not have a major programme envisaged, but as you’d expect we always review under performing stores and seek out opportunities for consolidation.”
