Polish military have confirmed on Monday that a “military object” entered their airspace which is most likely a drone as Russian launched a massive and “dastardly” attack on Ukraine.
More than 100 Russian missiles and some 100 kamikaze drones were launched inside Ukraine and Poland scrambled their fighter jets in response to protect their airspace.
Speaking to Reuters Jacek Goryszewski, a spokesperson for Poland’s Operational Command said it was “most likely [the object] was a drone, and we assume so because the trajectory of the flight and speed indicate that it was definitely not a missile.”
