Russian has been deliberately targeting innocent Ukrainian civilians, residential buildings and attacking their energy infrastructure for almost four years.

Ukraine is has in recent months given Russia a taste of their own medicine destroying oil and gas pipelines, oil refineries and on Saturday attack two Russian shadow fleet sanctioned oil tankers.

Moscow is moaning about Ukraine’s attacks saying it is threatening global energy security and they are strongly condemning the attacks.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said they condemn Ukraine’s successful attacks on tankers in the Black Sea and infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Novorossiysk.

She said in a statement, “We strongly condemn these terrorist attacks and the actions of all parties that facilitated them.

“Our friends at Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry have protested against the third act of aggression against the CPC.

“Our Turkish partners have also expressed concern about the attacks.

“We would like to point out that the civilian energy infrastructure facilities that came under attack play an important role in ensuring global energy security and have never been targeted by international restrictions.”

On Saturday Ukraine “successfully” attacked two sanctioned Russian oil tankers using Sea Baby naval drones off Turkey’s Black Sea coast.

A source from the Security Services of Ukraine (SBU) told the Kyiv Independent on Saturday that the two ships, the Kairos and Virat were disabled in the attack and that they could have transported almost $70 million worth of oil.

Vladimir Putin is using several hundred shadow fleet oil tankers to bypass Western sanctions and the two vessels were en route to the Russian port of Novorossiysk to collect more cargo.

The SBU source told the Kyiv Independent the drones “successfully completed their work on the ships,” they added it was a joint operation with the Ukrainian Navy which “a significant blow to Russian oil transportation.

The source continued, “The SBU continues active measures to cut Russia’s financial capabilities to wage war against Ukraine.

“Sea Baby sea drones disabled vessels that could carry oil worth nearly $70 million and were helping the Kremlin circumvent international sanctions.”

Last week Ukrainian force attacked a Russian oil refinery in the Saratov region along with a drone storage facility at the Saky airfield in occupied Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported.

On Friday the Saratov region was attacked, it produces 20 types of petroleum products, including technical sulfur, diesel fuel, gasoline, fuel oil to supply Russian troops.

Multiple explosions rocked Vladimir Putin’s oil refinery which will make it harder for them to obtain fuel as the blistering cold winter months are set to start.

The General Staff said in a statement, “According to preliminary information, several air defense assets were hit at the airfield, including Pantsir-S1 and Tor-M2.

“After suppressing the enemy’s air defense systems, a hangar storing enemy Orion and Forpost drones was destroyed.”

Another command and control post was hit along with a Russian KamAZ military truck, the damage to Russian assets is being clarified.
