Fashion retailer Laura Ashley has revealed after a challenging third quarter their annual results will be lower than first thought. On Thursday stock price hit an all-time low and share dropped 21.1%.
The retailer said in short statement, “Trading conditions have been very demanding over the third quarter,” the company, which owns about 190 stores in the UK.”
In February the retailer said like-for-like sales dropped by 4.2% in the 26 weeks to 31 December, as the retailer continues to battle with tough high street conditions.
