Elon Musk apologises after global Starlink outage

Tens of thousands of Starlink users were affected by a global outage last night which started around 7pm, according to Downdetector.

Writing on X the SpaceX founder assured his customer that this will be resolved and will not happen again.

Musk wrote on his social media platform, “Service will be restored shortly. Sorry for the outage. SpaceX will remedy root cause to ensure it doesn’t happen again.”

Starlink wrote on X, “The network issue has been resolved, and Starlink service has been restored.

“We understand how important connectivity is and apologise for the disruption.”
