British Airways owner IAG has announced that they are to cut flights due to the governments quarantine measures.

IAG expect to operate around 60% less capacity between October and December, and are expecting passenger to recover to 2019 levels by 2023.

In April and May British Airways saw an “almost complete cessation of new booking activity” due to coronavirus, however easing of the lockdown did spark an increase in sales during June.

IAG said, since July there has been an “overall levelling off of bookings.”
