It has been an eventful week for Kemi Badenoch; the Conservative leader was ‘ambushed’ on stage by finance campaigner Martin Lewis, who grilled her on plans to cut interest rates for student loans.

Badenoch has a dismal approval rating, with just 19% having a positive opinion of the Northwest Essex representative.

The Conservative leader to depart in 2026 is 2/1, cut from 3/1 during the week.
