Against the backdrop of a city long recognised as a centre of industrial and scientific progress, the International Conference on Computing and Communication Networks (ICCCNet-2026) convened at Manchester Metropolitan University from 17–19 July 2026, bringing together researchers, academicians, and industry engineers from across the world.
The conference drew more than 1,800 submitted papers from across 36 countries. Following peer review, 380 papers were accepted, representing an acceptance ratio of about 21%, and published across seven volumes of Springer’s Lecture Notes on Networks and Systems (LNNS) series. A total of 560 participants attended, with 45 in offline mode at Manchester Metropolitan University and 515 joining online, including authors, keynote speakers, delegates, academicians, and industry experts.
Alongside the academic programme, the ICCCNet awards drew 720 nominations, with 53 professionals selected across categories spanning data governance, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, representing a selection rate of roughly 7%.
Of this year’s ICCCNet honourees, London Love Business focuses on three technology professionals whose recognised work illustrates the breadth and international reach of the awards. Their achievements span enterprise data governance, applied AI integration in enterprise software, and machine learning-driven supply chain optimisation. Together, their professional backgrounds and contributions demonstrate the range of expertise represented among this year’s recognised technology professionals.
Data governance leadership
Leading the honours in enterprise data stewardship, Muppidi Sudheer Kumar received the Data Governance Excellence Award. A Data Governance Lead at Kemper with 14+ years of experience delivering Master Data Management, metadata management, and data quality solutions across government, banking, insurance, healthcare, and retail, Kumar has built enterprise data governance frameworks spanning Informatica’s MDM, Enterprise Data Catalog, and Cloud Data Governance (CDGC) platforms.
His recent work has included architecting BigID-based data discovery and privacy-compliance systems for regulations including CCPA and CPRA, and leading assessments to migrate legacy PowerCenter data integration assets to Informatica’s cloud-native IDMC platform.
That breadth, spanning classical MDM architecture through to modern automated privacy compliance, reflects the kind of enterprise data stewardship the award is designed to recognise.
AI and data leadership
Recognised for her work bridging enterprise software delivery and applied AI, Gnana Nishitha Chowdary Aluri received the Global Excellence in AI & Data Leadership Award. A Senior Software Engineer at Lowe’s with 7+ years of experience across Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and cloud platforms including AWS and GCP, Aluri has contributed to engineering initiatives supporting more than $100M in annualised business revenue, earning recognition from senior leadership for her work.
Alongside core full-stack development, she has worked on AI-driven engineering initiatives including AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integrations, and Generative AI use cases within enterprise software workflows.
Her path, from full-stack enterprise development to applied AI integration work at scale, reflects the kind of hands-on technical leadership the award category recognises.
Computing, AI and machine learning
Rounding out the honours, Venkatesh Manohar was honoured with the Computing AI & Machine Learning Award for his applied work in machine learning and mathematical optimisation. A Senior Data Scientist at Chewy with 7+ years of experience, Manohar has built models for order fulfilment, 3D bin packing, damage reduction, and labour planning across high-volume warehouse operations.
His work applies predictive modelling, mixed-integer programming, and simulation techniques, translating complex operational problems into deployed AI/ML solutions that improve efficiency and reduce cost at scale.
That combination of applied optimisation and production machine learning is precisely the technical depth the award category is built to recognise.
A selective international platform
Taken together, this year’s honourees, Kumar, Aluri, and Manohar, reflect the range of expertise recognised through the ICCCNet awards, spanning enterprise data governance, applied artificial intelligence, and machine learning engineering.
With 720 nominations narrowed to 53 selected, representing a selection rate of roughly 7%, the awards demonstrate a competitive selection process. The parent conference’s submissions from 36 countries provide an international context for the recognition programme, while the range of award categories reflects the breadth of technology expertise represented among this year’s honourees.
The awards recognise contributions across established and emerging areas of data governance, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with this year’s honourees representing different applications of technology across enterprise, software, and operational environments.
