Commuters taking the Metropolitan Line today could face severe travel chaos as there has been a signal failure at Harrow-on-the-Hill.

Take a look at the Met line on the tube map. It’s basically completely broken. https://t.co/Yuu6AarIlj

Local buses, however, are accepting tickets.
Separately, a Central Line tube strike is set to go ahead tomorrow after the tube chiefs refused to reinstate a sacked train driver, who was reportedly sacked after opening the train doors at a station while two carriages were still in the tunnel.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union has also ordered a 24-hour strike from tomorrow noon on the Piccadilly line in a “breakdown of industrial relations”.
