HSBC UK is to host a series of Brexit sessions for customers in London to support businesses as they prepare for the UK’s departure from the EU and beyond.
The sessions will offer the opportunity for businesses to meet with local HSBC teams who can provide support on optimising their working capital, international trade opportunities, and future investment planning.
The six sessions in London will take place between Monday 14 October and Thursday 24 October at different locations across the capital.
The announcement comes after HSBC UK launched a £14bn SME Fund last month, £2.2bn of which is designated to help businesses in London find growth and navigate Brexit.
Arjan Van Den Berkmotel, HSBC Regional Director for Business Banking in London, said: “Our recent customer research found that almost three quarters of businesses in the UK have already taken steps to prepare. That’s reassuring, but it does mean that more than a quarter of businesses still need to take time to understand how their operations could be impacted after Brexit.
“We want our customers to be proactive and work with us to think about the measures they need to put in place to keep operating successfully after Brexit.”
HSBC UK has already held more than 60 sessions for businesses so far this year focused around finding growth in uncertain economic times.
