Vauxhall Station “closed due to security alert”

Vauxall Station has been closed following a security alert, reports indicate.

As of around 16:50 on Tuesday afternoon, Vauxhall Station was closed with trains not stopping to pick up or drop off passengers.

The British Transport Police told LondonlovesBusiness.com that they had not been involved in sorting out the incident.

Transport officials have confirmed roughly half an hour later that Vauxhall Station is now open again.

Vauxhall Bridge now re-open southbound. Residual queues along Vauxhall Bridge Road, back to Pimlico, on approach.
