Focus groups are easy money – and we just made them even easier

Fancy getting paid £50 just to sit and talk for an hour about a product you use? Or getting paid £40 to try chocolates sent to your door, then reviewing them online? Then you need to get in on the focus group and user testing game with Saros Research.

It’s easy money, and you get to try out and talk about products and services that you already use, or that are suited to you. And lots of them are pretty fun too – you might get to try out luxury skincare or preview new concepts for smartwatches, or talk about mini-breaks or fashion or cars for an hour or two, whilst enjoying hospitality and a warm welcome.

And who wouldn’t want to do that for £20 – £50 an hour? There’s a very handy website where you can register for free, which takes a few minutes, and that will only send you genuine research opportunities that fit your profile.

That way you’ll only get stuff that’s relevant to you, and the company conducting the market research knows you’re the right type of person to be giving views on their products.

It’s the website research recruitment company Saros, and you can register on it here: sarosresearch.com/participate/joinsaros/londonlovesbusiness/

The opportunities mentioned above were all recently organised by Saros, as were focus groups and product testing around gardening products, ISAs, office procurement, frequent flier clubs – there really is a massive range of things that you could get paid to talk about or try.  And although they cover the whole UK, so many researchers and their clients are based in London that they need new people there every week.  You can only take part occasionally, but you have to be a member to receive the invites.

So if you’ve got a few minutes to spare, register with Saros today to start earning some rather handy pocket money.
