Lloyds Development Capital, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, is interested in snapping up some of HMV’s entertainment venues and artist management firms, City AM has reported.
Earlier this month, HMV sold its Hammersmith Apollo venue for £32m to Stage C, the company jointly owned by Ansco Music and CTS Eventim, a German ticketing services company. Ansco is a subsidiary of American tycoon Philip Anschutz’s Anschutz Entertainment.
