Technology giant Google have said that their staff will be allowed to work from home until next summer, in response to the global pandemic.
Google who employ several thousand in the UK, have said their staff have been working remotely since the outbreak started in March.
A Google spokeswoman said, “To give employees the ability to plan ahead, we are extending our global voluntary work-from-home option through 30 June 2021 for roles that don’t need to be in the office.
“CEO Sundar Pichai made the announcement today in an email to employees.”
