A former politician has warned that Her Majesty the Queen must self-isolate after meeting the prime minister who held meetings with health minister, Nadine Dorries who has tested positive for coronavirus.

The former MEP for London, Lance Forman said on Twitter, “Just heard on #LBC that Nadine Dorries met with Boris who has subsequently met with the queen at Westminster Abbey.

“Why isn’t her maj self isolating. Seems bizarre to put her at risk at public events.”

Dorries, the first MP to test positive, is currently in self-isolation as she’s been advised to take all precautions.

She is known to have met thousands of people in the last week and Johnson met with her on Friday at Downing Street for International Women’s Day.

The news comes ahead of Rishi Sunak, the new chancellor, delivering his first budget later today.

A sixth person has died from the virus in the UK, which has a total of 382 cases.
