Brits can take holidays from next week as air bridges agreed

The British government are finalising agreements that will allow people to fly to other countries for holidays without quarantining for 14 days.

From next week air bridges will be in place to a small number of countries which includes, Spain, France and Greece, according to the The Times and the Daily Telegraph.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has indicated that countries who have test and trace systems in place with the same standard as England.

Shapps said that introducing air bridges is a “massive priority” and said, “I understand entirely the pain that aviation is going through. I know both for airports, for airlines and actually for ground handlers as well, this coronavirus has been a complete disaster.”
