Berlin has said they will give Ukraine 4,000 German made Artificial Intelligence powered “Mini-Taurus drone over the coming weeks.
The German newspaper Bild reported on Monday Munich based tach defence company Helsing and the government in September have funded a contract for the 4,000 mini-taurus drones for Ukraine.
The drones are known as the “Mini-Taurus” in reference to Berlin’s more powerful Taurus missiles which will not be sent to Ukraine.
The “Mini-Taurus” drones have four times the range of the Iranian Shahed drones Russia is using and they carry a more powerful warhead which can destroy tanks, Bild reports.
The German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius confirmed the supply of more powerful drones for Ukraine, he told Bild he is “very happy that the delivery of these AI-powered strike drones is starting right now.”

Last night the US President Joe Biden has authorised Ukraine to use American supplied long-range missiles to be used to strike military targets deep inside Russia.
This marks a significant change in US policy and Ukraine will likely use the Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to strike Russian and Noth Korean soldiers inside the Kursk region, a source told the New York Times.
