No one got hurt
An empty Waterloo & City Line train derailed this morning causing the whole Waterloo-to-Bank service to shut down.
Commuters were left to find alternative routes this morning after the incident.
At the time of reporting (9.12am), the Tube line was still not working.
A Transport for London spokesman said: “We’re working to get the train back on to the tracks so it can be taken away, looked at and investigated to see what went wrong.”
No service on the line while we deal with a derailment of an empty train.
