Irish premier Leo Varadkar is to meet with French president Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the Brexit deadlock.
Varadkar said ahead of the Paris meeting that he is, “keen to discuss the possible scenarios arising from this week.
“It is now up to the UK to show how it plans to proceed and avoid a no-deal scenario.
“We are preparing for all outcomes and have prepared intensively for a no-deal.
“But no-one should underestimate the difficulties that a no deal will present, for all of us.”
Once again MPs failed to find a way forward on Monday evening or an alternative to May’s plan, this outcome will be the focus of discussions, as well as no-deal planning.
Angela Merkel, the German chancellor is to visit Dublin on Thursday to ratify the withdrawal agreement.
