Ukrainian authorities find mass graves with more than 1,200 bodies of residents and ‘this is only in Kyiv region’

Ukrainian authorities have found mass graves with 1,222 residents of Kyiv region who were executed by Russian forces. The scale of the scenes being seen in Ukraine have not been seen since World War Two when Hitler’s troops killed millions.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova said in an interview with Sky News, “As of the morning of April 10, we found the bodies of 1,222 residents who died during the Russian occupation of Kyiv region. This is only in Kyiv region,” she said.

She said the Prosecutor General’s Office has launched 56 criminal proceedings under articles of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) warned that there is more evidence of alleged war crimes coming out of Ukraine.
The British Defence Intelligence agency warned, “Further evidence of alleged Russian war crimes continues to emerge following Russian withdrawal from northern Ukraine.

“This includes the reported discovery of a makeshift grave containing deceased Ukrainian civilians near Burzova.
“Allegations of sexual violence perpetrated by Russian military personnel persist,” the report added.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia are trying evade all responsibility for committing war crimes and called them “monsters.”

The Ukrainian President said in his nightly address on Sunday, “When people lack the courage to admit their mistakes, apologize, adapt to reality and learn, they turn into monsters.

“And when the world ignores it, the monsters decide that it is the world that has to adapt to them.

“Ukraine will stop all this.

“The day will come when they will have to admit everything. Accept the truth.”
