A Vladimir Putin official has apologised to the Ukraine for the invasion ans said there is “no justification for the attack.”

The head of the Russian government’s delegation of climate scientists said this to the Ukrainian officials during the international summit.

The head of the Moscow delegation Oleg Anisimov has totally humiliated Putin in front of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) latest climate report and the world.

Appearing at a virtual meeting of the IPCC, Anisimov said in Russian, “First of all, let me thank Ukraine and present an apology on behalf of all Russians who were not able to prevent this conflict.

“All of those who know what is happening fail to find any justification for this attack against Ukraine.”

He added, “Since we are dealing with scientific issues, we have huge admiration for the Ukrainian delegation that was able to still do its work.”

Putin has further been humiliated and he is facing a serious revolt as thousands of Russian troops are putting their weapons down following a huge collapse of morale.

There are many government employees resigning as they are disgusted with Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Neil Hauer, a journalist, tweeted, “Russian friends sharing texts with me of their colleagues in Russia’s public service resigning over this invasion.

“Widespread disgust among Russian government employees over Putin’s decision.”

He added, “One tells me: “if you have the ear of Western politicians, tell them to keep pushing.

“This can build momentum and go much further.”
