Rupert Lowe most backed to succeed Starmer as Prime Minister

The latest YouGov findings show just 18% of Britons have a favourable opinion of Keir Starmer, his lowest to date as Labour leader.

One candidate to replace Starmer has been strongly backed over the last 12 hours. Rupert Lowe’s odds to succeed Keir Starmer have been slashed from 40/1 to 17/1 over the weekend.

Lowe was the joint most backed contender with 33% of bets backing the former business and agriculture spokesman for the Reform party.

Rupert Lowe’s odds have been cut from 40/1 into 17/1 over the weekend; punters have rallied behind Lowe over the last 12 hours with 33% of bets placed making him the joint most backed candidate alongside Nigel Farage (11/2). Current favourite West Streeting (4/1) received 9% of the backing over the last 12 hours.”
