Romania has criticised Vladimir Putin over his continued attacks on civilian targets and Ukraine’s “energy infrastructure.”

Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu also said that there is no evidence the Russian Federation have deliberately targeted his country in strikes.

At a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal in Kyiv on Wednesday, Ciolacu said, “We strongly condemn the continuing strikes by the Russian Federation against the civilian targets, critical and energy infrastructure.

“These are war crimes. All of these Russia’s actions show only its weakness before international solidarity.”

Commenting on Russian drones falling in Romania he added, “However, in the near future, we, together with Prime Minister Shmyhal, will use a new approach to prevent such attacks in future.”
