Officials have said, the British prime minister is to meet with the French president, Emmanuel Macron and the German chancellor, Angel Merkel on Tuesday to discuss Brexit.
May will discuss with Macron and Merkel a further extension to Article 50 during the Paris meeting.
Downing Street has said, ahead of the emergency European Council Summit on Wednesday, May is expected to speak with other EU leaders in a round of phone calls to discuss the extension.
A spokeswoman for Number 10 Downing Street, confirmed talks between Labour and the PM to find a deal are continuing.
Boris Johnson the former foreign secretary has hit out at May over her talks with the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, as he is concerned the PM will accept a customs union as a price for doing a deal with the Labour leader.
