New Land Rover Defender to be built in Slovakia


Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) are to build their next generation Land Rover Defender in Slovakia, the model has been designed in the UK and the engines will be built in Wolverhampton.

JLR will have the Defender built at the firms new £1bn plant in Nitra, Slovakia which opened last October.

The new model will be showed at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year, the new Defender will be on sale in 2020.
