McDonald’s have reopened a further 33 for drive-through customers after a successful trial for deliveries, whilst contactless payment is being encouraged.
From Wednesday customers can return to the Golden Arches for drive-through only, with orders capped at £25 per car.
Staff are to be temperature checked before each shift, with staff numbers being reduced to ensure safe social distancing, bosses said.
Across all drive-throughs Perspex screens have been installed and all staff have been provided with protective equipment.
