Hundreds of jobs are at risk as the group behind online publishing company Unilad has collapsed. Andrew Poxon and Andrew Duncan of Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery have reportedly been appointed as joint administrators of Bentley Harrington Ltd.
Unilad, which posts viral videos and news stories, has a substantial social media presence and around 39m followers on ts Facebook account.
According to the administrators, Bentley Harrington Ltd has debts of more than £6m, including £1.5m owed to HMRC. Co-founder Alex Partridge is also owed about £5m.
