Female health tech start-up Elvie has warned the company will consider quitting the UK should Brexit damage the London’s tech sector.

Tania Boler, chief executive and co-founder of Elvie told the Press Association the UK is one of the “best places in the world for start-ups.”

The tech firm recently secured the biggest ever femtech investment of $42m of series B funding in April, led by IPGL and supported by Octopus Ventures and Impact Ventures UK.

Boler said, “We are nimble and already quite international, if it is looking like Brexit will have a negative impact on the UK, we’d have to consider moving.”

Elvie is forecasting revenues of £23m for 2019 as the company developed a silent wearable breast pump, the first product of its kind in the world.
