Donald Tusk has said "we already miss you"

The president of the European Union Council, Donald Tusk has responded this afternoon by saying, we already miss you. Mr Tusk said: “there is no reason to pretend this is a happy day either in Brussels or London.”

Mr Tusk further said: “the EU will remain determined and united during the difficult negotiations ahead and will protect the interests of the remaining 27 member states.”
