Ma Xiaowei China’s health minister warned on Sunday the deadly outbreak of coronavirus is getting stronger and there are concerns over the risk the virus could mutate.
The virus spread is increasing at a fast rate and it is most likely that the number of cases will continue rise, thus far there is now almost 3,000 confirmed cases across the world and the death toll has now reached 80.
Ma Xiaowei said at a government meeting, China is facing a “grave situation” whilst Xi Jingping the Chinese president warned the spread of coronavirus is “accelerating.”
Ma Xiaowei said the incubation period of the deadly virus can range from one day to two weeks, warning that the coronavirus is infectious during that time.
