The Prime Minister left business leaders bewildered on Monday as he compared himself to a car making engine noises, Moses and raved about Peppa Pig World during the CBI conference.

During his “shambolic” speech he said enjoys going to Peppa Pig World whilst trying to explain his new enthusiasm for wind power.

Boris Johnson said “Peppa Pig World is very much my kind of place” which has “fantastic broadband” which left business chiefs puzzled.

Then Johnson was flustered as he lost his place during his speech and muttered “forgive me” three times.

His speech at the CBI conference was supposed to be focused on green policies for businesses and said wind power could power electric vehicles, then conceded they might not be “burble” like a petrol car then started making car engine noises.

Johnson’s weird gags left Labour blasting his antics and speech as “shambolic” which just goes to show how “unseriosuly” he takes businesses.

Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves blasted the Prime Minister as she said, “No one was laughing, because the joke’s not funny anymore.

“The Prime Minister’s shambolic speech today not only shows how unseriously he takes British business, but also how his government lacks any plan for growth or to propel our enterprising nations forward.”

She added that Labour is the “true party of Business” as we believe “that government and business should work hand in hand to boost our recovery, grow our economy, and create prosperity across every part of the UK.”
