The UK’s largest tour operator has announced that they have cancelled more holidays until August just a day before the government updates the travel rules.

TUI will also be cancelling holidays to Greece and Spain for the rest of this month as it is expected the Transport Secretary could move the Spanish Balearic Islands back on to the amber list.

TUI said, “We want to offer our customers flexibility and choice this summer, so where borders are open and FCDO advice allows travel, we will operate to those destinations as planned.

“We are continually reviewing our holiday programme and cancellations in line with the government updates every three weeks, with the next update expected on the 15th July.”

From Monday the governments new rules will be in place allowing Brits who have had both vaccinations to return from amber list countries without having to quarantine on return to England.
