The Argyll Club, London’s leading premium workspace provider, has today launched a new product that enables any business to secure a safe and private office, of any size, just for the day.
After surveying businesses during the lockdown, The Argyll Club found that 70% predicted less face-to-face interaction in coming months and 36% required greater agility. In response, it has released its day office product, which aims to provide businesses with complete flexibility and ensure that, when they do come together, they can extract maximum value.
The day office removes the ties of a traditional lease whilst still offering a private office where teams can work together – whenever and wherever they need – without compromising on any of the benefits of a premium workspace, including break-out areas, private phone booths, business lounges and meeting rooms. Every day office is bolstered by high speed WiFi as well as a proactive support team on hand throughout the day. For those seeking to become less reliant on public transport, there is also access to secure bike racks as well as the provision of showers.
The product can be utilised by businesses of all sizes – anywhere from a small start-up up to a large corporate – and will be available at a number of The Argyll Club’s key London addresses (within Mayfair, Victoria and The City). Also, the provider is launching a ‘dedicated desk option’ whereby a client can secure their own desk in a London location, ensuring they have a personal hub when returning to the city (complete with locker, bike storage and showers) – even if it’s just for one or two days a week.
With PPE provided at every location and deep-cleaning regimes in place, the aim is to ensure professionals can return to London safely, whenever they need to. As we adjust after lockdown, London needs workspaces that offer businesses a much-needed hub in the city – where professionals can walk in and get straight to work – but that also support new-found remote working routines.
Beth Hampson, Commercial Director at The Argyll Club, commented on the launch, “In the wake of the pandemic, a lot of businesses – from start-ups to corporate blue-chips – are re-examining their workplaces. Flexible space was already considered the future of work before the pandemic, and now demand is rising for even more agile working options. Although most businesses have successfully adopted remote working, we’ve had swathes of clients saying they miss the creativity and productivity of the office. So, we’ve created a product that allows businesses to retain their new-found home habits whilst harnessing the benefits of coming together when required – all in a cost efficient model.
“It’s about having your own safe and secure space where a team can come together for planning meetings, brainstorms or just a regular working day; all without the constraints of a long-term contract. The day office could also be used to house specific teams when high attendance is expected in the corporate headquarters.
“Our focus is to provide London’s businesses with a toolkit of options that they can use as they need. At The Argyll Club, we have been in the business of matching businesses with the right workspace for 25 years, so can find a suitable option no matter the market condition.”
