Warmer weather for December?
Temperatures dramatically fell last week to below freezing, however this week the country could see highs of 15C making it warmer than Madrid or Athens.
Incoming cloud will trap the warmth and the UK will see temperatures climb.
Last year the UK average for December was just over 5C in the south and just a mere 3C in the north.
Forecasters say the warmer weather will bring heavy rain and high speed winds in the west, the rest of the country will also see some light rain.
