Prince Philip has ‘successful procedure’ for heart condition

The Duke of Edinburgh, 99, has had a “successful procedure” for a pre-existing heart condition as St Barts Hopsital in London

On Monday Prince Philip who turns 100 in June, was transferred from King Edward VII’s Hospital to St Bartholomews’ Hospital.

Buckingham Palace said, “The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday underwent a successful procedure for a pre-existing heart condition at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

“His Royal Highness will remain in hospital for treatment, rest and recuperation for a number of days.”
