The US President Donald Trump could be a “superspreader” as he attended seven events in the days running up to him testing positive for coronavirus.

Trump has sparked fears over being a superspreader as he attended Bedminster, New Jersey on Thursday and it was reported he was feeling “lethargic” which is a common symptom of the virus.

Whilst Trump was at Bedminster, he was in close contact with 19 people, including New Jersey’s governor Chris Christie, and everyone who attended the event are being told to quarantine.

President Trump attended the presidential debate with Joe Biden on Tuesday, which lasted for 90 minutes, and did not wear any face covering. Biden and his wife are both waiting on their test results.

Trump was with Vice President Mike Pence in the rose garden, who tested negative and was also in Florida, Williamsburg and a golf course in Virginia, all within the last week.

It is feared that many thousands of people could have been exposed due to the impact of President Trumps travelling.

Trump’s son, Baron who is 14-years old tested negative for coronavirus on Friday.

Melania Trump’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, told NBC News. “Barron has tested negative and all precautions are being taken to ensure he’s kept safe and healthy.”
