Sir Sean Connery who played James Bond has died at the age of 90 his family has announced on Saturday.
Connery was best known for playing James Bond 007 and starred in the Hunt for Red October, Indian Jones and the Last Crusade and The Rock.
Scotland’s Frist Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted, “I was heartbroken to learn this morning of the passing of Sir Sean Connery. Our nation today mourns one of her best loved sons.”
Sir Sean was Knighted by the Queen at Holyrood Palace in 2000.
